On social media, Post Malone fans are debating about the singer's actions and behaviors while performing.

The conversation started when an X account posted a video of the late Amy Winehouse's erratic dance moves while performing onstage. Stitched on the same video was Post Malone, seemingly dancing and moving like the late singer.

"Is it the alcohol or something else?.." the uploader asked online.

While some gave them the benefit of the doubt, many have come up with their own interpretations of what they saw.

"Drug twitches I believe. Hopped up, souped up and tweaking out. Sad. Drugs are the destroyers of life," a fan theorized.

"It's heroin the day before. Meth that night. Cocaine before they hit the stage. Sprinkle in some alcohol if ya want and maybe a lil ecstasy after brunch," another echoed.

While many believe that Malone took drugs before his performance, many of his fans defended him.

"Amy moved like this because of her addiction. Post Malone performs like this during one song in his set (I Fall Apart, I I remember correctly) because the song is a sad song about someone's life being ruined, it's just an act," one commented.

"Post is clearly just performing, his movements aren't eratic and it's to a very emotional song to him, he's also completely on beat, while Amy Winehouse is clearly cracked," a second person agreed.

"Hers is her condition whether it be drugs/withdrawl etc. His is just someone trying to look edgy and cool cuz the drugged out vibe was like really in at the time lol," another fan said.

Before she passed away in 2011, Winehouse had struggled with substance abuse, mental illness, and addiction. Sadly, Winehouse died in 2011 due to alcohol poisoning.

On the other hand, Malone has been very upfront on his health issues. At one point in 2020, he fell after fans saw him behaving oddly on stage. He clarified later on that he was "not on drugs," and he felt the "best" he had ever been in his life. In a 2022 interview with Howard Stern, the "Circles" singer confessed that he had struggled with alcoholism.
