In the wake of a scathing report from Rolling Stone, which details decades of alleged abuse and misbehavior, Sean "Diddy" Combs may soon face an indictment from the U.S. Justice Department. Per CNN, the D.O.J is moving to have multiple accusers of Combs testify before a federal grand jury.

The D.O.J. recently sued Ticketmaster and Live Nation for violating antitrust laws.

Combs is facing eight civil lawsuits from various accusers. He faces allegations of abuse, sexual assault, rape and drugging. One suit, filed by ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, has settled, but a video of Combs violently attacking Ventura in a hotel was recently unearthed. The clip, which shows Combs shoving and kicking Ventura, prompted a poorly-received apology from Combs.

"I'm committed to be a better man each and every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry," he said in a video posted to social media. Ventura's team responded, describing the message as a show of "his pathetic desperation" and writing that "no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words."

In March, the Department of Homeland Security raided Combs' homes in both Los Angeles and Miami as a part of a sex trafficking probe. Firearms and phones belonging to Combs were seized from the houses.

Since the raid, federal agents have reportedly interviewed many of the plaintiffs and accusers, who are cooperating with the investigation, multiple times. Additional witnesses have also been brought in for questioning, some who were found on tapes discovered by federal agents during the March raids.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) did not comment on the grand jury, but stated that the investigation into Combs is still ongoing. The potential witnesses have not yet been prepared to testify.

While the initial investigation pertained to Combs' sexual assault and rape charges, it has since expanded to include sex trafficking, money laundering and the possession of illegal drugs.

Former classmates of Combs' claimed that his abusive behavior dates back to his time at Howard University, where he reportedly touched women without their consent and abused his girlfriend at the time.

Since then, he has faced a litany of allegations that include drugging, rape and physical abuse along with filming sexual intercourse without consent and forcing one victim, producer Lil Rod, to have sexual "encounters" with sex workers.

Lil Rod referred to Combs as a "monster" who has "no soul."

Combs has denied all allegations against him.

"Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth," he wrote in December.
