Tina Knowles frequently looks back on the early lives of her daughters, Beyoncé and Solange. However, this time, she is going all the way back to the beginning.

The businesswoman revealed that Solange was conceived on the Nile River in Egypt. At the time, she had thought she was having a boy, which led her to believe that she would name her baby Niles.

"Actually, Solange was conceived on the Nile in Egypt," she revealed on a Vogue podcast. "I thought I was having a boy and I wanted to name him Niles. But little did I know, here came this girl."

Once she found out she was having a girl, she referred back to a book she had purchased for a friend that listed baby names, adding that "names are important."

"I bought a baby name book in Paris for my girlfriend and she was going to have a baby. And then the next year I wound up having a baby, so I pulled that old book out."

Solange has previously opened up about how the location where she was conceived has inspired her art.

"I had some revelations in terms of my parents finding out they conceived me in Egypt after visiting the Giza pyramids and [I connected] to that and the constellation of Orion that aligns with Giza."

The location inspired her 2017 tour, Orion's Rise. She also sang on a song called "Nile" with Kendrick Lamar for her "Texas Hold 'Em" sister's 2019 The Lion King: The Gift album.

"A lot of people don't know that Beyoncé is my last name. It's my maiden name," the 70-year-old revealed, stating that all of her siblings have different spellings of the name. "All of us have a different spelling. I think me and my brother, Skip, were the only two that had B-E-Y-O-N-C-E."

Her other siblings' birth certificates read "B-E-Y-I-N-C-E," which recently resurfaced when that spelling was used for the promotion of the Grammy-winner's Cowboy Carter album.

The fashion designer recently opened up about the bullying that her Grammy-winning daughter dealt with growing up. She said that "Beyoncé, she was very shy and she got bullied a bit but the day that she stood up for someone - she didn't stand up for herself she stood up for them."

Although Knowles frequently opens up about some aspects of her children's lives, she has stayed tight-lipped about other secrets. She was recently confronted about the third part of Beyoncé's three act album series, which also included Renaissance

When asked if she could share anything about the "Formation" hitmaker's mysterious next album, Knowles quipped back, "Not a thing! Nothing, nope. Or I will be banned somewhere far, far away!"

She reacted similarly after being questioned about a potential concert tour for Cowboy Carter. When she was asked if Beyonce would be following up her acclaimed Renaissance tour with a tour supporting her eighth studio album, Knowles responded that "you'll have to ask her."
