Authorities reject Nicki Minaj's claims of racial profiling after the singer's arrest and fans are siding with the Dutch police on this one.
The debate surrounding the validity of her accusations and law enforcement's response has been ignited by the events that transpired at a Dutch airport.
In a recent incident, law enforcement apprehended Minaj during a routine check at the airport, resulting in the cancellation of her scheduled performance in Manchester, England. Authorities have denied accusations of racial discrimination put forth by the singer and have stood by their actions, explaining that the discovery of illicit substances in her possession prompted her arrest.
Reports indicate that officers defended their decision to detain the "Super Bass" singer by disclosing the detection of multiple joints in her luggage.
A representative from the law enforcement agency responded to Minaj's allegations by expressing their disagreement with her assertions of racial bias and profiling in a statement issued to TMZ.
In addressing the issue, the department's spokesperson, Robert Kappel, clarified that they firmly rejected the singer's claims, branding them as both "annoying" and "unfounded."
"We just do our job, and it is protocol to search luggage and arrest a person when we find drugs."
"The arrest was around 17.30 and the release at 21.30. We stand for a professional organization that treats everybody equal, no matter what."
Amid the heated debate surrounding her arrest, Minaj stands firm in her accusations against law enforcement.

Expounding on the incident in a recent video, she not only shed light on the racism she claims to have faced but also insinuated a touch of sexism in her encounter with the officers, underscoring the perceived lack of compassion exhibited by those in power.
"Not being able to get to Manchester, I don't know when was the last time I felt that low."
"And not only that but just knowing that something is being done to you on purpose. You are a confident other race, you know?"
"But I'm not going to get into it and tell you guys the joy they took in it, even while I was there. But you know what? There was one lady there - all the rest were men - and I could tell she had a heart."
Fans however, are siding with the Dutch police on this one, with some not liking the fact that she's using race to defend her actions.
The arrest consequently disrupting her plans in Manchester and rearranging her concert schedule.
