Rita Ora's attempt at a crowd sing-a-long did not go as planned over the weekend.

The 33-year-old attempted to get the crowd to sing her song, "Anywhere," but did not have much success. Once the crowd was unable to sing any lyrics from the track, it became apparent that Ora herself may not know them.

Ora came off the stage and into the barricade to greet her fans during her set. While down there, a fan sang part of "Anywhere" into her mic, which prompted her to try to get a full-crowd rendition going. However, as she continued to walk around and search for other fans who knew the lyrics, it may not have been the most popular choice for the audience.

After none of the audience members in the front row knew what to sing, the "Black Widow" hitmaker took on the task of picking up the song herself. However, what came out of her mouth was a completely different song. She started singing "'Cause I might hate myself tomorrow," before stopping to exclaim: "Oh that's the wrong song!" She had instead been singing the lyrics from her Avicii collaboration, "Lonely Together."

"Rita Ora trying to find ANYONE in the front row to sing her song acapella is one the best most embarrassing things I've ever seen omg then she sang the wrong song," the post said.

She gave the mircophone to another person, asking them, "Do you know the lyrics?" The fan instead just yelled "I love Rita Ora!"

The singer went on to try to get the song going one more time, however, her last ditch effort resulted in an audience member wanting to start back at the beginning of the song. She put the embarrassing attempt to an end, conceding that it's "absolutely not going to happen."

While the crowd may not have known the words to "Anywhere," Ora did perform a song that anyone could have known. The BRIT Award-winner performed a cover of "Dancing Queen" by ABBA, which became a huge crowd pleaser.

Ora's husband, Taika Waititi, was present at the festival, where he was seen recording her performance from a balcony. The actor made an appearance in her recent music video for her new single, "Ask & You Shall Receive."

Billed as the "UK's most-inclusive and fabulous festival," Mighty Hoopla's inaugural queer music festival also featured performances by JoJo Siwa, Nelly Furtado, Jessie Ware, Cher Lloyd, and even The Real Housewives of New York star Countess Luann de Lessepps.
