Rapper BIA took to her Instagram to fire shots at Cardi B over the weekend.
The two have been in a relatively quiet beef - perhaps because Kendrick Lamar and Drake's feud claimed all of the headlines - since March. BIA responded to a fan who accused Cardi B of copying BIA with three twisted-face emojis, indicating that she was agreeing with the fan.
Prior to BIA's clapback, Cardi B took to instagram Live on June 1 and discussed the beef. She briefed her audience on the conflict between the two rappers. Along with the copy-cat claims, BIA accused Cardi of cheating on her husband, something that Cardi then referred to as "lying on her pussy."
"Imma sue you and you got to come with receipts. And not social media receipts, you gotta come court receipts," she said.
"You're not gonna lie about my pussy, and you're not gonna lie about me stepping out on my sh--," she said pointedly before declaring that she would sue BIA for all she's worth.
She threw harsh words at BIA, saying that she sees the "Whole Lotta Money" rapper as "so beneath" her.
Cardi acknowledged that her marriage isn't "perfect," but she is "rich as f--, successful as -f-," has "beautiful children" and a man (Offset) who always stands behind her.
Cardi then told BIA to show "the receipts" of her supposed infidelity.
Cardi also took a moment to insult BIA in her feature on Glorilla and Megan Thee Stallion's "Wanna Be," which dropped last Friday. "Guess I'm a teacher since you wanna sub me/She did what? Had no idea/Thought she was on the shelf, Ikea/Hope she talk like that when I see her/Bitch please, don't nobody wanna be ya (Bia)," she raps.
In the latest installment in the beef, BIA posted a clip of herself in the recording studio and showed off a new song on June 2. She captioned the video, "'SUE ME' ?? That's not hip hop," referencing Cardi's threat.
BIA takes her sweet, sweet time getting into playing the song. In what was presumably clipped from an Instagram Live, she repeatedly says how she is waiting for more people to be present before playing the song. After over two and a half minutes of near silence, with BIA simply staring into the camera and occasionally chuckling to herself, she presses play.
BIA continuously insults Cardi, asking, "All that surgery how your body look so mid?"
"You ain't nothing but a f-- girl, I see right through you," she raps on the chorus.
"Put it on your hubby since you love lyin' on your vows," she chides, one of several references to Cardi's supposed infidelity.
"BTW, me and all my homegirls hate your tats...we think you look dirty, even after the bath," says BIA as the track concludes.
The comments on Bia's Instagram post were less than enthusiastic.
"Bia girl this ain't it," wrote one user.
"I'm sorry it's trash," posted another. One netizen made a tongue-in-cheek reference to Cardi's diss on "Wanna Be," writing "girl dont nobody wanna BEEEE YAAAA."
Only time will tell if Cardi B will respond with a diss track of her own.
