Britney Spears is getting support from Justin Timberlake's *NSYNC bandmate.

Chris Kirkpatrick is showing his support for the "Toxic" hitmaker by sharing his support following her previous public struggles. While they have not remained close, he offered his hand out if she had needed anything.

"I haven't been close to her," the 52-year-old said to Fox News Digital. "If she ever needed to talk to anyone or anything, you know, I'm here."

After several damaging allegations about Timberlake came to light in Spears' memoir, The Woman In Me, Kirkpatrick says that he wishes her the best. He comments on her wild social media content, which frequently makes headlines due to its unpredictable manner, but affirms that she has the right to independence.

"Other than that, it is what it is. Everybody deals with things in their own way. And, you know, I just hope that she's OK and everything's all right because for a while, it was like, 'Hey, free Britney, get her out of this conservatorship.' And she gets out of it. And then, you know, she posts some crazy stuff, but it is what it is. And it's her life. And it's not my business to get involved in it."

Both Spears and *NSYNC came up in the music industry at the same time. Since they frequently crossed over due to Spears' former relationship with the group's frontman, Kirkpatrick shared an unexpected anecdote about a past collaboration with Spears.

The "Together Again" reveals that he dressed up as Spears in drag for a video that was used in one of her tours. From behind, the video fooled audiences into thinking it was the "Baby One More Time" songstress. However, once he turned around, Kirkpatrick received gasps from the crowd since he's "not a very attractive woman."

"I filmed something for one of her tours that she did," he laughed. "I dressed in drag and acted like her hairstylist or something ... or no, I think I pretended to be her. And when I turned around, and it was me, I'm sure [I] got a lot of gasps on that one because I'm not a very attractive woman."

Kirkpatrick served as a founding member of the band, performing with them through their disbandment in 2002. He can be heard as lead vocalist on songs like "Thinking of You (I Drive Myself Crazy)," "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," and "I Thought She Knew," along with several songs on their Christmas record.

In Spears' memoir, she states that she had an abortion when she became pregnant with Timberlake's baby because Timberlake "didn't want to be a father."

"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated," the 41-year-old wrote in her book. "But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."

Spears calls the experience "one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life." The pair ended up splitting in 2002.
