Did you hear the one about Flavor Flav and Martha Stewart hanging at the Dead and Company show at the Sphere?

It may sound like a joke, but apparently it really happened -- at least according to the photo posted on Flavor Flav's X (formerly Twitter) account.

"WATCH OUT @SnoopDogg. Imma Steal Yo Girl,!! @MarthaStewart What a long strange trip itz been watching @deadandcompany at The @SphereVegas," Flav captioned the photo that features the homemaking queen posing with the Public Enemy hype man.

Flav is wearing shades, a baseball cap and a Dead T-shirt along with a large diamond-encrusted medallion that surprisingly does not appear to be one of his trademark clocks. Stewart is dressed smartly in a cream-colored blazer, olive green top and some khakis while they pose in front of an incredible image -- that appears to be a sunrise or sunset -- projected onto the Sphere.

In his caption, Flavor Flav appears to be razzing West Coast rival Snoop Dogg, who became fast friends with Stewart after meeting her in 2008 to mash it up and make some mashed potatoes in her cooking show, The Martha Stewart Show.

Snoop returned to Stewart's show a year later to make brownies, and in 2014, he credited her with inspiring his candle line.

A year later, the two appeared on the Comedy Central roast of Justin Bieber, and in 2016 they competed together on the $100,000 Pyramid.

That same year, the pair joined forces for the VH1 series Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party. And, in 2018, Stewart wrote the foreword to Snoop's cookbook.

Their relationship has continued through this decade, beginning in February 2021, when they co-hosted the Puppy Bowl that year and again in 2022.

It remains to be seen if Flav and Martha's encounter at the Dead show will blossom into a full-scale recurring partnership like Snoop and Stewart have enjoyed.

Flavor Flav, meanwhile, has made headlines of late for being a Swiftie and he recently tried his best to help financially strapped seafood chain Red Lobster by ordering everything on the menu.

For their part, Dead and Company are continuing their engagement at the Sphere in Las Vegas through Aug. 10. They recently paid tribute to the "biggest Deadhead ever," basketball star/sports commentator Bill Walton, who died earlier this month at the age of 71.
