During their ongoing silent war, Billy Ray Cyrus expressed his love for his daughter, Miley Cyrus, in an Instagram Post.
Billy Ray shared a throwback photo of himself and a young Miley from a CMA Fest decades back.
"One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, back when it was Fan Fair. That's @mileycyrus and me, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds. The next day, someone handed me this picture, and I wrote that poem right then on the bus," he wrote in the caption.
The "Achy Breaky Heart" gushed about his pride for his now Grammy-winning daughter.
"I'm incredibly proud of her. She's a survivor and a true artist. She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible," he furthered.
According to Billy Ray, he and Miley "both cherish the connection" they have with their fans and shared that they're "grateful" for every single one of them.
At the 2024 Grammy Awards, Cyrus finally received her first and second Grammy Award ever with her hit song "Flowers." She won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year.
Billy Ray's post came months after the Cyrus family household launched into an all-out silent war against each other.
The Cyrus family drama came after reports emerged that actor Dominic Purcell and Noah Cyrus were dating before Tish Cyrus, Noah, and Miley's mother, had dated him. Conflicting reports had revealed that Purcell was still seeing Noah when he and Tish started dating and that Miley even had full knowledge of Noah and Purcell's relationship.
It was also reported that Tish and Billy Ray's children have taken their sides in the family feud. Miley, Trace Cyrus, and Brandi Cyrus sided with their mom and attended her wedding with Purcell, while Noah and Braison skipped the festivity and pledged allegiance to their father. However, things have since fizzled out after Noah greeted Tish on her birthday.
