Post Malone made two lucky fans smile when he brought them up on stage Friday night at New York City's 2024 Governors Ball.

The artist was mid-set when he spotted a fan with a large sign requesting that Post let him play the guitar during "Stay." The "White Iverson" rapper waved the fan, named Anthony, up, and security helped to lift him on stage. He picked up Post's acoustic guitar and took a seat, practicing with a few chords before the performance officially began.

Anthony revealed that it was actually his third time playing alongside Post Malone, having jammed with him at previous shows in the tri-state area. He thanked the singer before beginning the set.

Another fan, a young woman, also made her way to the front and was brought up onstage quickly after Anthony. The two snapped a quick selfie before she told him that she wanted to sing alongside Anthony's guitar playing. Post agreed, asking which verse of "Stay" she would prefer to sing. She stalled, so he took control and decided to help her out.

"I'll start it off," Post said before singing "It's true/That all that you know is all that you are," the first line of "Stay." The woman began to laugh nervously as she continued the song, reading the lyrics off of her phone and failing to match Post's pitch. He returned to the track after the first verse, adding his vocals into the mix.

Music Times was able to speak to the fan, Mahagony Tiara, after the set about her once-in-a-lifetime moment performing with the star. "The experience was amazing. And Posty is a total sweetheart and very respectful. Waiting for over 10 hours was very worth it," she enthused.

Post Malone's actual band displayed impeccable stage presence throughout the show. The show opened with three violinists playing lush strings, creating an eerie, exciting aura to start the performance. Each instrument had a moment to shiny as both his guitarist and drummer were given designated moments to flex their expertise.

The New York native delivered a captivating performance, entrancing an audience of thousands with hits like "Circles" and deeper-cut classics such as "White Iverson." He set off several rounds of fireworks and lit up the stage with impressive pyrotechnics throughout his set.
