The Who's Roger Daltrey recently expressed his thoughts on people looking up setlists before they go to concerts. He said he's had enough and that there are no more surprises because the public reveals them on the internet.

The musician, set to embark on his solo tour later this year, spoke to Billboard in an interview, saying he didn't want to talk about the tracks he will perform at his shows.

"I'm not gonna talk about songs... Too many people reveal songs. There are no surprises left with concerts these days, 'cause everybody wants to see the setlist. I'm f****** sick of it," he declared.

The musician said that the internet has "ruined the live shows" for him because people forget about surprises, and he couldn't stand it.

Although he didn't share more details about his setlist, he hinted that he might perform the hit The Who song "Won't Get Fooled Again," clarifying that they don't use tape loop for the instrumentation but rather play it on real instruments.

Daltrey will perform at his solo concerts along with his touring band that consists of guitarist Simon Townshend, violinist Katie Jacoby, Billy Nicholls on mandolin and vocals, percussionist Jody Linscott, bassist John Hogg, harmonica player Steve Weston, guitarist Doug Boyle, Scott Devours on drums, and Geraint Watkins on keyboards and accordion.

Fans should expect a mostly acoustic set of the Who's classic hits, as well as rarities, solo nuggets, and "other surprises."

The tour will kick off at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA, on June 10, 2024, and will run until the end of June at their last show at the Pavilion at Ravinia in Highland Park, IL.

KT Tunstall, Dan Bern, and Inhaler will be supporting acts on select dates.
