Billy Cyrus filed for divorce from Firerose after just seven months of marriage.
The "Achy Breaky Heart" got married to his much-younger wife in October 2023. According to TMZ and People, Cyrus submitted the filing quietly in Nashville on May 22.
The court documents obtained by the news outlets revealed the pair decided to divorce due to "irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct." The country singer, 62, also requested an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
Per TMZ, the "Some Gave All" singer gave Firerose a deadline to leave their home and pay her $5,000 a month for 90 days or until the divorce is finalized to get her proper housing in Tennessee.
It marked his third marriage and divorce following his relationships with Cindy Smith and Tish Cyrus. He shares three kids - Miley, Braison and Noah - with the latter.
Tish has since moved on with Dominic Purcell, whom she wed in 2023.
Billy Ray and Firerose have yet to comment on the filing, but they have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The estranged couple's relationship started when they collaborated on several songs amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They officially began dating in 2022 before Billy Ray popped the question a few months later.
The pair tied the knot in 2023.
"10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony. It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined," they shared on Instagram. "For both of us to hear the preacher say, 'Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus... I now pronounce you husband and wife' that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long Live Love! ️️."

Before the divorce, they released four songs together: "After the Storm," "Time," "New Day" and "Plans."
They also appeared together on Good Morning America in August 2023 to perform "Plans" and share their love story.
"We're kind of like... It's a peanut butter and jelly," said Billy Ray. "I'm a left-handed singer-songwriter from Flatwoods, Kentucky, and she's a trained orchestral musician..."
Firerose added, "It has been a beautiful whirlwind and I'm just so grateful that I get to live my dreams every day with the love of my life."
