Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers recently disclosed that he had surgery to eliminate skin cancer.

The 36-year-old singer-guitarist took to Instagram on Tuesday to share that he was undergoing a procedure to remove a basal-cell carcinoma from his head.

Shifting the camera angle to reveal a mole perched at the center of his forehead, Kevin explained, "Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guy that has started to grow. And now I have to get surgery to remove it, so here we go."

After the procedure, Kevin revealed his wrapped forehead with pride and intrigue as he carefully peeled back the gauze to inspect the incision below.

The dad of the two decided to mask the injury with a shocked facial expression, an emoji, and his jaw dropped as he saw the unexpected view in front of him.

In the next part, Kevin was already prepared to head home since the process was complete.

While in the car, the eldest Jonas brother said, "Alright, I'm all done. Now it's time to heal. I'm heading home."

He then emphasized the importance of regular health screenings and checkups encouraging his audience of 4.9 million, "Make sure to get those moles checked people."

Kevin's recent revelation and warning comes after news to delay their Jonas Brothers tour, Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour.

In May 2024, youngest sibling of the trio, Nick Jonas, announced the need to reschedule several upcoming shows on the Jonas Brothers' current tour.

Despite their scheduled performance in Mexico City that month, the 31-year-old musician, along with Kevin and Joe Jonas, decided to postpone four concerts to be held at a later time.

Nick said, "A couple days ago I started feeling kind of rough, lost my voice when I had woken up and grinded that night out to be able to play the show in Cancun."

The "Jealous" singer sought medical advice upon noticing flu-like symptoms, which postponed his band's upcoming concerts in Mexico City and Monterrey.

The shows in Mexico City were rescheduled for August 21 and 22, while the concerts in Monterrey will follow on the 24 and 25 of the same month.

The Jonas Brothers' tour aims to promote their latest album release, The Album. They first performed two shows in New York in August 2023 and their final show for that year was in Los Angeles.

Their final tour stop is scheduled to take place in Poland on October 16th of the current year.
