Following the announcement of this year's performers for the BET Hip-Hop Awards the network has revealed the lineup for its cypher. Remy Ma, Kevin Gates and Wiz Khalifa are slated to participate among a slew of others.
As reported by Vibe, this year's lineup will feature a few OGs in the lyrical game like David Banner, Treach of Naughty By Nature and Juicy J along with buzzing newcomers such as Atlanta collective Two-9, Vic Mensa and G. Eazy.
Common, YG, Rae Sremmurd, Ty Dolla $ign, Migos and DJ Mustard have been announced as performers. In addition, Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, Snoop Dogg, Birdman, Jay Electronica, Bobby Shmurda, DJ Premiere and Vince Staples are slated to hit the stage.
BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood and Grammy award winning rapper Nelly and Teyana Taylor of G.O.O.D Music are among confirmed presenters for the night, per SingersRoom.
As previously reported, Drake leads the pack with eight nominations. Drizzy has been nominated for Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year and MVP of the Year, as well as Album of the Year, Hustler of the Year and the People's Champ Award.
Jay Z, Future and Pharrell trail behind with six nods. Nicki Minaj, Rich Homie Quan and YG each snagged five nominations.
This year, BET presents the "I Am Hip Hop Icon" Award to legendary beat boxer and rapper Doug E. Fresh.
