News about Jennifer Lopez exhibiting diva behavior is nothing new.

But many people are revealing some shocking new claims about it again, particularly an odd rule she has regarding eye contact.

Despite canceling her upcoming tour, the 54-year-old singer now faces accusations of being difficult to work with.

The new allegations come in the wake of Meghan McCain's criticism labeling Lopez as "unpleasant."

McCain exposed the Maid In Manhattan star, "She just is a deeply unpleasant person... It was just surprising given that people like Kim Kardashian couldn't be more delightful."

Us Weekly reported that the McCain added, "Also, when you're coming on a show for a 10-minute segment... just fake it 'till you make it for ten f---ing minutes."

Amid buzz of her impending divorce from Ben Affleck, rumors suggest Lopez implemented a policy of avoiding direct eye contact with crew members and staff.

Reports indicate the singer scrutinizes who can meet her gaze.

According to the Daily Mail, one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "A friend of ours worked lighting backstage at one of her concerts. All of the workers were strictly instructed: DO. NOT. LOOK. AT. MS. LOPEZ. There's to be NO. EYE. CONTACT."

A second social media user claimed, "I knew people who worked at Mohegan Sun (a US casino) and they were instructed to totally avoid eye contact with J Diva."

"They still laugh about her to this day because far bigger celebs have appeared there that have been far more gracious and friendly. Per my insider friend, her limo drivers were instructed the same, they couldn't even look at her in their rear-view mirrors."

On another online platform, individuals used TikTok to recount encounters with the "Jenny From the Block" singer's perceived diva antics.

One user shared an anecdote, claiming how a close friend of theirs was part of the audio team for a project involving the singer-dancer, and Lopez allegedly demanded the crew leave the set simply for making eye contact with her.

The abrupt action caused a complete halt in the production, the individual claimed.

Another shared that during a stint at a California ski resort, a former employee shared a surprising anecdote about Lopez's visit to film a car commercial. The staff was instructed not to make eye contact with her, leaving them shocked and bewildered by the weird demand.

Meanwhile, McCain expressed her thoughts on Lopez's latest documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, describing it as subpar and critiquing her recent acting performances as lacking.

Despite her criticisms, the TV personality clarified that she had no intention of throwing shade.

"She needs to humble herself a little bit because she's getting [hate] all over the internet especially on TikTok."
