Travis Kelce is exploring opportunities to expand his business endeavors overseas.
Insiders have revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end has set his sights on acquiring a winery in northern Italy alongside his mother, Donna Kelce.
According to sources, Kelce is keen on broadening his investment portfolio and sees this venture as a promising opportunity for growth and diversification.
This comes after the athlete and his girlfriend Taylor Swift were vacationing in that part of Italy a few weeks ago.
An insider revealed to The Sun, "On his next trip to Italy, Donna will probably go with him. She dreams of being involved in the wine industry and that's why [Kelce] is pushing ahead with this. He wants to make her happy."
According to sources, Kelce has been actively scouting influential figures in the wine sector as part of his ambition to launch a personal venture in the industry. Reports indicate that the former NFL star was enchanted by the Italian countryside's enchanting scenery and rich heritage while accompanying his girlfriend on her European Eras Tour.
After deliberating with numerous owners and investors, the athlete's team is reportedly contemplating a proposed amount of approximately $3.5 million.
Those familiar with the matter revealed several industry insiders have expressed significant interest in collaborating with the Kelce family.
"They see just how famous [Kelce] has become, being one of the faces in the NFL and [Swift] becoming the most famous singer in the world."
Having just signed a lucrative two-year contract extension with Kansas City that solidified his status as the top-paid tight end in the NFL, Kelce aims to clinch his third successive Super Bowl championship.

His plans come after fans saw Swift give all of her support for Kelce despite the distance.
On Thursday, Kelce joined his Kansas City Chiefs teammates for the Super Bowl LVIII Rings Ceremony, where the victorious team is honored with their championship rings for winning in the game.
The 34-year-old made a striking appearance at the event, clad in his team's signature red.
Meanwhile, Swift's absence was palpable, as she flooded social media with comments on posts from the ceremony, expressing her desire to have been present.
In a heartfelt celebration, the "Fortnight" singer expressed joy by sharing three heart-eye emojis, a message of congratulations, and an enthusiastic declaration: "Joining the party from Liverpool, let's go!"
During her performance in Liverpool, Swift also mentioned having a cold and concluded her appreciative remarks with the message on the Instagram Live of the KC team's account, saying, "Gotta go to sleep, it's so late here, love you guys," accompanied by three heart emojis.
