Reports have surfaced claiming that Kanye West is considering organizing a live performance in Russia.

There are speculations that the controversial rapper could face potential bans in several European countries should he proceed with a show in the world's largest country by land area.

An insider in the music industry raised concerns about the potential consequences the 47-year-old hip-hop artist can face. The discussion centered on why he should not play live for a Russian audience or their allies. The source emphasized that establishing ties with Vladimir Putin could have significant implications.

Speaking with The Sun, a seasoned professional said this move is "so desperate" on Kanye West's part.

The insider suggests that if West will perform in Russia, it could further potentially ruin his reputation immensely.

The source revealed that the "All of the Light" rapper's team has already made contact with purported pro-Putin officials in Hungary and Serbia. The insider emphasized, "If he plays in Russia, and even goes to Hungary and Serbia for some concerts, people are going to take that as a massive insult."

Stating the ramifications, the source emphasized, "Many European countries can ban him from performing there." Furthermore, the insider added, "[West] has to get it together and think long term because if that show happens next month, he won't be able even to enter some of the countries that have cut ties with Putin."

In May, rumors circulated in Russia suggesting that West had caused a stir by allegedly finalizing plans to perform at Moscow's Luzhniki stadium. Following this speculation, a close confidante of Putin voiced her disapproval.

In discussions related to the pro-Kremlin Safe Internet League, remarks regarding the influence of high-profile figures were attributed to Ekaterina Mizulina. Specifically, she was noted to have commented on the presence of individuals similar to West and his wife, Bianca Censori.

"We don't need any Kanye West with his naked woman."

This comes after West faces new hurdles with allegations of sexual harassment and unfair termination brought against him by his ex-assistant, Lauren Pisciotta.

Per Rolling Stone, Pisciotta came forward alleging that she received sexually explicit messages and experienced inappropriate conduct from the artist while working on the Yeezy fashion line and the "Donda" album under West's guidance.

She further claims he engaged in sexual harassment. Pisciotta's legal action seeks damages totaling a minimum of $4 million accusing him of not honoring their agreement to cease her OnlyFans content in exchange for a promised $1 million.

West's legal situation continues to grow more complicated, with new lawsuits emerging on top of existing legal challenges. These include legal disputes with former employees and partners alleging racial discrimination, concerns about working conditions, and accusations of contract violations.
