Jennifer Lopez's 'Father's Day Greeting' For Ben Affleck Has a Major Ick in the Details, Fans Say: 'Awkward!'

 After initial surprise over Jennifer Lopez's Father's Day tribute to Ben Affleck amid rumors of their impending divorce, fans have noticed a notable oversight in the social media post.

On Sunday, J-Lo shared a black and white picture of Affleck from the 2001 film Pearl Harbor on her Instagram Story. Over the image, she wrote, "Our Hero. Happy Father's Day," accompanied by a white heart emoji.

To greet him even though they did not share children is quite surprising to some, but not really socially unacceptable. They are married after all, and Lopez has a close relationship to Affleck's kids. Same goes with Affleck to Lopez's kids.

Affleck is a father to three children with his actress ex-wife Jennifer Garner - Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. Additionally, he serves as a stepfather to Lopez's twins, Max and Emme, who are 16 years old and are Lopez's children from her third marriage to musician Marc Anthony.

However, as reported by Daily Mail UK, eagle-eyed fans noticed a detail that made the whole post quite "awkward." They saw that the image dates back to when Affleck and Garner first met.

Affleck portrayed Captain Rafe McCawley in the iconic war drama, with Garner appearing in a smaller role as nurse Sandra. The Hollywood pair, who were previously engaged before a well-publicized split in 2004, tied the knot in July 2022.

Speculation has been mounting for months about strains in their relationship and the possibility of an impending divorce after nearly two years of marriage. Adding to the speculation, the "Jenny From The Block" singer recently "liked" a social media post about break-ups.

Tongues were sent further wagging when Affleck decided to spend time with Garner instead of Lope on Father's Day, despite the greeting. 

The 51-year-old actor, renowned for his role in Pearl Harbor, was observed entering the gated community where 52-year-old Jennifer Garner resides on Sunday.

Garner, exuding casual elegance, was seen leisurely strolling around the neighborhood. She sported a grey V-neck sweater layered over a white T-shirt, complemented by blue jeans and periwinkle-colored trainers. She's also makeup-free.

It's not clear if Affleck reacted to Lopez's greeting. Also, fans wonder why Lopez did not green Marc Anthony too, given the fact that they share children.
