The woman who sued 50 Cent for assault, Bryhana Monegain, demands the court to force him to appear for a deposition in the case.

In Touch Weekly obtained legal documents saying that 50 Cent has not given an available date for deposition despite her numerous requests. Monegain gave the rapper a tentative date of June 13, 2024, but the deposition did not occur.

"Due to the pendency of the August 5, 2024, mediation date, an Order compelling [50] to sit for deposition and provide testimony must be made forthwith," the document said.

In September 2023, 50 Cent accidentally hit Monegain with his microphone when he realized it was not working.

Although 50 Cent did not intend to hurt anyone, he accidentally hit the host. Meanwhile, 50 Cent's lawyer maintained his client's innocence.

However, in images obtained on The Neighborhood Talk, Monegain's extreme bodily injuries to both her forehead and just above her right eyebrow are very apparent, resulting in her hospitalization.

In January 2024, Monegain sued 50 Cent for battery and negligence. Monegain reported "a concussion and laceration over her forehead and pain in her left wrist and complained of "dizziness, headaches, light and sound sensitivity and nausea."

"No matter who the assailant is, this alleged act of negligence and violence is unacceptable and we will hold 50 Cent and his co-defendants accountable for their alleged actions," Monegain's legal camp told Entertainment Weekly. "Mr. Jackson has himself previously said that 'if the talk ain't 'bout money, homie, I ain't concerned,' so we are confident our client will be fairly and justly compensated for the injuries she suffered."

Monegain is reportedly suing for all special damages incurred, including hospital and medical expenses and attorney fees.

As of this writing, the presiding judge has yet to rule on Monegain's appeal for 50 Cent to be deposed.

Since then, 50 Cent has only addressed the incident indirectly on Instagram.

"Damn only thing left is Taylor swift show. I fired everyone involved in the audio department, if the mic don't work your ass don't work here. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi," he said at the time, attaching a screenshot of Lil Wayne suffering a similar technical snafu at a Beyonce concert.
