Madonna's lawsuit against her was dismissed without her lifting a finger - she did not even have to pay anything.

The 65-year-old pop music icon faced a class action lawsuit over her concerts at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in December 2023.

Originally scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m., she took the stage approximately two hours later than advertised.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, plaintiffs Michael Fellows and Jason Alvarez have chosen to voluntarily withdraw their lawsuit. Madonna's legal team had previously characterized the lawsuit as part of a 'harassment campaign' by some of her fans.

When a lawsuit is voluntarily dismissed like this, it typically indicates that the parties have agreed to end the dispute.

However, sources familiar with the legal proceedings informed the publication that Madonna did not settle with Fellows and Alvarez. Instead, they voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit themselves.

Furthermore, they requested that the dismissal be "with prejudice," meaning it is permanently dismissed and cannot be brought back to court in the future.

The case faced confusion last week when the plaintiffs posted a notice claiming a settlement had been reached. Madonna's legal team disputed this, successfully petitioning the judge to remove the notice from the record.

In January, concertgoers Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden sued the singer after her shows at the Barclays Center started significantly later than advertised on their tickets.

According to TMZ, Madonna filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing that her true fans understand her concerts often start late and extend beyond the scheduled time.

The dismissal documents assert that Madonna's devoted fans are aware of her tendency to start late, and most understand and accept this aspect of her performances.

Meanwhile, Madonna reportedly dropped some hints about a collab with Katy Perry.

Before Katy Perry officially unveiled news of her upcoming comeback single, "Woman's World," scheduled for release on July 11, rumors had already flooded social media for weeks suggesting the new track would feature Madonna.

Despite Perry's official announcement on June 18 not indicating that her new song will be a duet, Perry's devoted fans, affectionately known as #KatyCats, still hold onto hope that the Queen of Pop might make a guest appearance.

The release of the official artwork for 'Woman's World' briefly quieted speculations that Madonna would be featured on the track. However, the 65-year-old icon later posted a cryptic message on Instagram just hours after the artwork reveal.

"My baby's got a secret," Madonna tantalizingly told her 19.8 million followers on Instagram recently.

Although the post provided no further context, its timing left #KatyCats puzzled, speculating whether it hinted at a possible collaboration with Perry.

As of now, neither Madonna nor Katy Perry has confirmed or denied the duet rumor.
