Ever since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce publicly announced their romance, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has been a supporter of the two.

In a conversation with Page Six, Portnoy shared his confident prediction that Kelce will probably go down on one knee to propose to Swift shortly.

"It's got to be coming soon. It seems like it's ramping up. I would say within six months -- it feels like that," Portnoy speculated.

According to Portnoy, from his "outside" perspective, Swift and Kelce are heading "faster" to the aisle than the couple expected.

Portnoy, who seemed to also possess the magical "delusional" speculation powers of many Swifties online, dismissed the idea that the couple had already been secretly engaged.

"With how public they seem to be, they would very much want that to be a big show," Portnoy believed.

Nevertheless, if the proposal had already taken place, Portnoy, who referred to Swift as her "mother," just wanted her to be "happy."

Rumors about the couple's engagement have since become exacerbated after Kelce made his The Eras Tour debut performance during a transition skit.

"I don't know, if I was in the crowd, like, I'm not there to see Travis necessarily," Portnoy reacted on the hyped-up Kelce cameo on London's Night 3. "I can see him on Sundays in the NFL. I'm there to see Taylor. Like if I go to an NFL game, I don't know if I want to see Taylor take a snap, but they're head over heels in love. So whatever makes mother happy, I'm good with."

Meanwhile, Swift and Kelce have grown tired of speculation about their engagement in the past few months.

Speaking to Life & Style, insiders said that the pair's incessant inquiries from friends and family have begun to wear them down.

"The constant questioning from friends and family is starting to really get them down," the source confirmed. "Not a day goes by they don't get hit with gentle hints and questions. The social media and fan chatter about an engagement is bad enough, but he also gets questions from friends, and the more he's pressured, the more he withdraws."

Swift remains focused on finishing her The Eras Tour in Europe and the last remaining leg in the United States before 2024 ends.

"Her friends bring it up all the time, and she's ordered them to stop mentioning it. The constant questions are not helping. She's 100 percent sure that Travis is The One, and she's just hoping the proposal happens soon, because she wants to get on with the next stage of their lives," the insider added.
