A former assistant of Taylor Swift opened up about her time working alongside the pop sensation, revealing that the singer didn't show her true self until later.

Heather Wirth's insights are part of the lineup of former staff members sharing their stories in the latest documentary series on Discovery+, Taylor Swift Vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood.

Exploring the intense rivalry between the 14-time Grammy winner and music industry mogul, the narrative climaxes as Braun acquires Swift's original recordings from her former label, Big Machine Records.

Following this decision, the "Fortnight" singer was inspired to start the process of re-recording her albums to reclaim ownership of her music.

Within the documentary series, recently criticized by Swift's representatives, Wirth dives into her experiences working with the musician in 2015. She recalls how "Lover" singer displayed humility and warmth towards the production team throughout her 1989 World Tour.

"Taylor is very down to earth. There is no fakeness to her, everything is very genuine, very real," Heather said, via X.

"There was one time where I was traveling with her on her tour and she was sitting in the back of her plane, I could hear her just throwing words together and basically in front of me, she ended up writing 'Ready For It,'" the ex-assistant revealed

In the period leading up to the feud involving Kanye West and next challenges with Braun that captured media attention, Wirth had been working closely with Swift and it became clear that the singer, even back then, possessed a reserved nature and was cautious when forming new relationships.

"It takes a while for Taylor to let her guard down. When I worked with her, it took her a while with me. At the end of the day, Taylor is just a normal person, just like you and me."

But contrary to the claims made in the documentary series, Swift's representatives have refused to provide any comments, reiterating that the "Guilty As Sin" singer has moved on from the feud with Braun.

"[Swift] has completely moved on from this saga and has turned what started out as an extreme situation into one of the most fulfilling creative endeavors of her life."

"None of these men will ever be able to take away from [Swift's] legacy as a songwriter, singer, director, philanthropist, and advocate for artists' rights."
