A recent interaction between Taylor Swift and Prince William has caught the attention of royal watchers, sparking speculation that it could cause a stir for Meghan Markle.

The future King showcased his lively dance steps during Swift's Eras Tour show at Wembley Stadium. Following the concert, Prince William seized the chance to have a backstage encounter with the iconic pop star, with his two oldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in tow, creating a lasting memory.

At the show, the royal family members clearly had a great time, taking selfies to commemorate the moment.

Now, a PR expert, Ryan McCormick, suggests that Swift's bond with Prince William might cause unease for his sister-in-law.

He told The Mirror, "Because of [Swift's] considerable clout, her friendliness towards William may very well be unnerving to Meghan. If Swift publicly endorsed or supported the Duchess in any way, it would immediately bring a cascade of adoring Swifties into her camp."

In light of recent events, the 14-time Grammy winner has opted to decline Marke's offer to appear on her Archetypes podcast.

Reports suggest that Markle invited Swift to be a guest on the podcast last year, but the singer gracefully turned down the opportunity through her representatives.

According to a report by The Telegraph, Markle wrote a heartfelt letter to the "Style" singer, expressing her desire for Swift to guest on Archetypes. Unfortunately, Swift's representative declined the invitation.

The PR expert added, "I don't think [Swift's] decision will be damaging to [Markle]. If a number of high-profile celebrities and power brokers were to begin publicly dissing or distance themselves from Markle, the fallout would certainly diminish her standing."

In a remarkable endeavor, the Duchess of Sussex oversaw the creation of a series comprising 12 episodes under the title Archetypes exclusively on Spotify. The podcast show featured notable appearances by other personalities such as Serena Williams, Paris Hilton, and Jameela Jamil.

Meanwhile, royal biographer Katie Nicholl said, "I'm not sure that Princess Charlotte is the biggest Swiftie of the family or whether it's actually Prince William. I know he loves her music."

"They have a great connection, they're good friends."

In 2013, Prince William and Swift's paths crossed for the first time at the Centrepoint Gala Dinner hosted at Kensington Palace in London. Their encounter involved joining forces with Jon Bon Jovi for a special performance.

The royal expert further revealed, "They remained good friends [after that night]. So good, in fact, that William got the royal treatment [at the Eras Tour]."

"He got the VIP tickets and he had - he had a wonderful time backstage with [Swift], where she took a selfie of her with the children and Prince William."

"There is clearly a lovely connection between these two. But William is not just a fan of [Swift], he's a huge fan of her music, too."
