Kendrick Lamar and Linkin Park have joined forces to promote a new musically innovative app called Turnstile.
As reported by Vibe, the app allows users to receive exclusive content like videos or merchandise at any live event. Turnstile was launched during Linkin Park's Carnivores Tour of North America, which kicked off in West Palm Beach last month. The app, now available in the App Store and Google Play, has seen a significant amount of downloads since its creation this year.
"Open Turnstile when you're at a live concert or sports event to discover exclusive access to music, video, contests, merchandise, and other stuff available only to Turnstile members who are at the show or game," the app's description reads.
It has also been reported that Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda is responsible for bringing K. Dot and the rest of TDE onboard with the new technological advancement.
"TDE is all about elevating ourselves to the next level; this applies to both musical content and live performances," the "I" rapper said in a press release. "Turnstile is something we can get behind because it will help accomplish this. It helps get fans even more involved and invested in our live shows."
Last month, TDE member Jay Rock announced the hip-hop collective is gearing up for a world tour set to kick off next year.
"Be on the look-out for us to come to a city near you," Jay Rock said during an interview with XXL. "I think we got a big tour being planned for next year. I don't really want to talk too much because I'm not sure of the specifics but be on the look out. TDE is coming to a town near you soon, world tour."
As fans may recall, TDE embarked on their first world tour last year. The tour was headlined by Kendrick Lamar, 2014 XXL Freshman Isaiah Rashad and SZA.
No word on who from the label will set out on this year's edition.
