Sabrina Carpenter has been taking over the music industry over the past few months after her tracks "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" became massive successes. More recently, her boyfriend Barry Keoghan's old social media posts resurfaced, in which he referenced his girlfriend's tracks from 10 years ago.

Eagle-eyed fans decided to investigate the Saltburn actor's X account, and they uncovered posts in which he featured a few similar lyrics from his girlfriend's now-rising tracks.

In one post shared in 2014, he wrote, "This time last year I told you that I would be an espresso addict."

In another tweet posted in 2013, he mirrored the lyrics of Carpenter's track "Please Please Please," in which he starred alongside her in the music video.

In the post, he wrote: "Can someone please please please lend me The Sopranos."

Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan's relationship rumors began circulating in late 2023. According to Us Weekly, the couple were first spotted in Los Angeles in December.

They were later seen having a museum date the following month. In March 2024, Keoghan made extra effort and visited Keoghan in Singapore to watch his girlfriend perform at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

Also, sources confirmed that the two were dating around that time."They are both very casual people and enjoy being low-key in their downtime. They aren't putting too much pressure on things, and Sabrina loves that Barry understands she is extremely busy with her work commitments right now," the insider said.

Since then, they have been spotted being together several times and even attended the Met Gala as a couple, marking their red carpet-debut.

Last month, Carpenter surprised fans with her "Please Please Please" music video featuring Keoghan as an actor.

"I liked the idea of falling in love with a convict and being shocked and embarrassed every time he commits crimes... I was sooo lucky to get Barry Keoghan in the video cause he is just magic on screen," she told Vogue in an interview.

In other updates about the pop star, the former Disney actress will release her new album, Short n' Sweet, on August 23. She will also embark on a tour across North America later this year. More details about her upcoming shows are available on her official website.
