During the airing of this year's MTV VMAs, singer K. Michelle and Lil' Kim exchanged words via Twitter over a comment made by the Rebellious Soul songstress. K apparently had a falling out with former friend singer Elle Varner as well. The "Can't Raise A Man" singer dished about her beef during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club.
K. Michelle said her friendship with Varner came to an end after the singer took her song and imitated her sound.
"I'm the only b---h yodeling in these hooks. You can't do this," she said of Elle. "She went and put it out. Management told me they didn't like the record and they wasn't gonna put it out."
In addition to ditching her friendship with Varner, K says she fired her management and signed with Lady Gaga's former manager Troy Carter.
"They tried to keep me in a box, but musically that's something you can't do," she said. "My album outsold hers, but she get to sing it? I book more than her, but she get to sing the same exact record? But I'm not good enough for it?"
During the interview, K also spoke on her exchange with Lil' Kim. "B---h tryna get a moment. Neither one of us was [at the VMAs], motherf---er," she said. "At least I'm in the studio working. You been in the game, you could of at least been a guest."
K revealed she was upset that Lil' Kim opted to confront her on social media. "Why would you go and talk to me on Twitter? 'Cause you wanna keep them three fans you got. You could've been a woman and texted me."
And she even had a few choice words for Kim's fans: "F**k them ignorant ass Lil' Kim fans."
