Taylor Swift has dubbed it the "Summer of Sabrina" Carpenter, proving she's truly a girl's girl, uncaring if there are other female artists capturing the hearts of many as her.
The 25-year-old singer-songwriter has landed two songs in Billboard's Top 10, including a #1 hit, and has completely sold out her Short n' Sweet tour.
In an Instagram post celebrating these achievements, Sabrina expressed her gratitude: and just like that you guys sold out the entire short n' sweet tour, espresso went #1 at pop radio andddddd i slid down this slide :') thank you all so so much!!! i can't wait to see you on the road."
Sabrina, 34, who recently starred in the video for Please Please Please alongside her boyfriend Barry Keoghan, shared the exciting news on Instagram, accompanied by photos of herself in a stunning green dress with cutouts accentuating her slender waist.
Responding to Sabrina's success, the "Fortnight" singer commented swiftly: "'SUMMER OF SABRINA AND MAY IT CONTINUE FOREVER,' with an angel emoji."
As of this writing, Swift's comment has garnered nearly 200,000 likes and sparked its own conversation about her work ethic.
"Mother has spoken," one person wrote, while another chimed in, "'BABE DIDN'T YOU JUST FINISH A SHOW.'"
Indeed, the LOML hitmaker had just performed at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam on the Fourth of July, as pointed out by that commenter.
It is not Swift who is enamored with Carpenter though. On the acting front, Mandy Moore, another well-loved singer back in her time and a highly-respected actress now, claimed she can totally see the "Please Please Please" singer as the star in a possible live-action Tangled movie.
Mandy discussed her partnership with TJ Maxx in an interview with Elite Daily, where she expressed her thoughts on a potential Tangled remake and her casting choice of Sabrina as Rapunzel. Mandy originally voiced Rapunzel in the 2010 animated film.
"I could see her with 50 feet of hair or something," Mandy remarked. "She looks like a Disney princess in real life."
Regarding her own role in the remake, Mandy imagines herself playing Rapunzel's mother, envisioning a heartfelt mother-daughter duet with Sabrina.
"Let's have a real mother-daughter duet, and have someone write an original song so we can talk about our differences and how hard it is to be a young person in this world," Mandy expounded.
Both Mandy and Sabrina began their careers as Disney child stars.
Sabrina gained prominence in shows like "Girl Meets World" and "Sofia the First," while Mandy's early film credits include "The Princess Diaries," alongside Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews.
