Here's How Ice Spice Reacted When Fans Booed Taylor Swift's 'Karma' On Rolling Loud Austria

Ice Spice knew what to do and react when the crowd started booing Taylor Swift on Rolling Loud Austria on July 7, 2024.

The crowd started booing when Swift's "Karma" remix was played during Ice Spice's set. Notably, the "Munch" rapper was featured on Swift's remix version of the song, marking the first time she collaborated with a female hip-hop artist.

As seen on several videos on X, formerly Twitter, Ice Spice did the classiest thing possible as everyone booed and gave a thumbs down when the song was being played - she blew them a flying kiss as she went on and enjoyed the rest of the song.

Swift surprised everyone when she collaborated with Ice Spice in October 2022, when the latter was still a burgeoning rapper.

In an interview with Spotify about the release, Swift revealed how the "Karma" remix materialized.

"Collaborating with Ice Spice on Karma was one of the most natural things. She reached out through her team. Just kind of saying, "Hey, you know, Ice has been a big fan of Taylor since she was a little kid. We'd love to collaborate if that was ever something that came about," the "Lavender Haze" singer revealed.

The song peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, making it Ice Spice's highest-charting song on the genre-blending singles chart.

Ice Spice's friendship with Swift blossomed, and she talked about landing the remix in an interview with Variety.

"What I took away from Taylor's documentary is you really do need to work hard, and not everything is going to be as easy as it seems," Ice Spice revealed. "And my manager heard me talking about that and had reached out to her team, and then they had a song for me.

Relating to Ice Spice in "many" ways, Swift said that the young rapper's dedication blew her away from the very start.

"She's extremely professional without being cold. Playful and fun without ever taking her eye off the prize. She knows what is and isn't 'her' and sets those boundaries with grace. She studies the industry and other artists' careers but is very clear about charting her own definitive, original path. It's her ability to carefully find that balance that impresses the hell out of me," Swift raved.
