Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are currently going through their divorce proceedings, and even though the news of their separation died down over the past few months, it has been reignited again after the actress threw a subtle shade at her estranged husband in a new advertisement.
The Game of Thrones star is the new face of St-Germain Drinks' global summer campaign, "Spritz Up Your Summer." In the short film, which was filmed in the South of France, the 28-year-old actress can be seen hanging out on a balcony before returning to her hotel.
A bartender later asked her what she wanted to order, to which she cheekily replied in a seductive tone that she was "looking for something different, fun, fresh... I'm very particular."
She also listed some qualities she's looking for, adding, "Has to be bright, obviously, bubbly, the type that's welcome at any party, sweet but not too sweet. Am I asking too much or do you think I'll find it?"
The bartender then gave her a St-Germain Hugo Spritz, which Turner described as "the whole package."
The recent campaign comes almost a year after Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner in September 2023 after being married for four years. In the filing, he claimed that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken."
The following day, after filing the dissolution of marriage, the ex-couple released a joint statement saying they mutually decided to end their relationship amicably.
"There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children," they added.
Later that month, the actress sued her estranged husband, requesting that her two kids be returned to England where she lives.
"The Father has possession of the children's passports. He refuses to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother," the documents alleged.
However, they later agreed to temporarily keep their children in New York. By October 2023, they reached a custody agreement regarding their two daughters, in which both of them will get the chance to spend time with the kids.
In May 2024, Sophie Turner broke her silence about their divorce in an interview with British Vogue, saying she was on set for a project and couldn't leave after discovering that reports had been circulating about her being a party girl.
"I just kept having to say to myself, 'None of this is true. You are a good mum and you've never been a partier," she said.
