Harry Styles made a surprise appearance alongside Stevie Nicks during her headline performance at BST Hyde Park on a Friday evening.

The "As It Was" singer shared the stage with the Fleetwood Mac icon as they honored the memory of Christine McVie, a former bandmate who would have celebrated her 81st birthday that day.

McVie died in December 2022 following a stroke during her fight with cancer.

Despite not speaking directly to the audience, the former One Direction star took the stage. He delivered an outstanding performance of Nicks' timeless hit songs, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" and "Landslide," before honoring McVie.

The "Watermelon Sugar" hitmaker radiated confidence and graced the stage wearing iconic 70s attire, while the "Gypsy" singer embodied the essence of a true rocker in her all-black ensemble.

The 76-year-old singer told the audience, "I want you to know that Christine was my girl and she loved all of us and today was her birthday."

"All of you have helped me get over [her death] and I want you to know how much I appreciate it."

She then told Styles, "I thank you. We thank you!"

The Sun reported that Nicks and Styles enjoyed a private celebration backstage after their iconic performance.

Nicks reportedly treated the Don't Worry Darling actor to a luxurious backstage feast featuring an assortment of desserts, alcohol-free beverages, and herbal infusions.

"Gone are the days of Stevie staying up all night partying. She went back to her hotel after the gig but enjoyed a non-alcoholic beer with Harry before she left."

"She also had her favorite candy floss and lots of sweet treats for [Styles] and her band. Everyone had to wear masks, including [Styles], and that was strict protocol."

"So there was no inviting anyone else like [Kate Moss] backstage this time."

Fleetwood Mac faced a devastating blow with McVie's death, marking the end of their illustrious five-decade career. Nicks even confirmed that her death marked the end of an era for the group.

The legendary lineup of Nicks, Lyndsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christie McVie, and John McVie took the stage one last time in 2018 during their memorable MusiCares tribute at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.
