Tupac Shakur Case: Suspect Claims Diddy Ordered Hit; Rapper Cited 77 Times in Legal Docs

In a new twist in the Tupac Shakur murder case, Sean "Diddy" Combs has been implicated by a suspect who alleges that the music mogul ordered the hit on the iconic rapper.

Legal documents obtained by The Sun referenced Diddy 77 times, citing various aliases such as Puffy, Puff Daddy, and his given name, Sean Combs.

Duane "Keefe D" Davis, the suspect facing trial for Shakur's killing, claimed Diddy offered $1 million for the murder of Tupac.

While the disgraced music mogul has previously denied involvement, prosecutors are determined to bring closure to the case and seek justice for Tupac, who was fatally shot in Las Vegas on Sept. 7, 1996.

The documents detailed a complex investigation, including Keefe D's undercover mission to New York with a Los Angeles police task force. The team aimed to gather evidence that would link Diddy and another gang member, Eric "Zip" Martin, to the murder.

According to the legal filings, detectives believed they had jurisdiction because the conspiracy began in California.

"Defendant asserted that the conspiracy to commit the murder began in California between Defendant, Eric 'Zip' Martin, and Sean Combs," the documents stated.

Prosecutors also highlighted Keefe D's public statements, in which he claimed his confession only implicated himself. However, they argued this contradicts his suggestion that Diddy paid Zip a million dollars for the killing.

Included in the documents were transcripts from several police and media interrogations with Keefe D. In these discussions, he consistently reiterated his accusations against Diddy.

In one clip, prosecutors stated, "When Sean Combs reaches out to Defendant wondering if South Side Crips were responsible for Shakur's death by asking, 'Is that us?', Defendant, beaming with pride, answers, 'yes.'"

During a 2009 "Surreptitiously Recorded Interview" with Las Vegas police, Diddy is mentioned multiple times. Keefe D claimed that he and his South Side Crips associates had a relationship with Diddy and that the mogul ordered the hit on both Tupac and Marion "Suge" Knight.

Keefe D further alleged that Diddy confessed to him and a large gathering about the hit, expressing fear of Suge Knight and unresolved issues with Tupac after a diss track. Diddy allegedly said he would do anything to have Suge's "head."

The transcript also revealed that Diddy was discussed on the night of the shooting, with Keefe D reportedly stating, "I knew we was like damn, we can get paid now."

When questioned about payment, Keefe D confirmed that Diddy provided the funds, as stated in the court records.

Keefe D concluded his statement to law enforcement with a regretful note, saying, "I wish I never met Puff Daddy, period. I swear to God...He messed up my life, man. I was rich, up under the radar, all that, man... it's all gone."

As the investigation continues, the possibility of Diddy being summoned or facing charges remains uncertain, but the quest for justice for Tupac Shakur endures.
