Social media was buzzing with reactions when Drake posted a picture of himself sporting a Tupac Shakur tribute shirt.

The "U My Everything" singer sparked backlash and discussion among hip-hop enthusiasts, with the majority seeing the selfie as a subtle dig at rival Kendrick Lamar.

In the picture shared via Instagram Stories, Drake confidently posed in the iconic Tupac shirt bearing the words, "Only God Can Judge Me."

Soon after the picture was shared on X, formerly Twitter, it quickly circulated among users, igniting discussions among followers.

"I'm actually really sick of Drake using Tupac to troll Kendrick, or anyone. I mean regardless of which side you're on, regardless of the beef, it's just incredibly disrespectful to use a legend no longer with us as a mockery for your own gain because you're salty & need attention," @prismenergy_ tweeted, reacting to the post.

Another X user, @masechaba_nk, wrote, "He keeps using Pac like this because he doesn't know what he meant to us. He's out of touch. As a Black person, I feel disrespected and taunted. And it's frustrating that he doesn't get why it's disrespectful. It's irritating."

"The people that say Kendrick milking the beef are the same ones that eat this s**t up," @Lalosaaan wrote.

User @theraplab_ tweeted, "Bro lost the beef and resorted to trolling on social media," while @TyriqueKe stated, "Can't take bro serious [for real. I don't know] why he even raps like he's tough when he be doing s**t like this."

In Drake and Kendrick's intense rap battle, both rappers paid homage to Tupac, with the former using cutting-edge technology. The Canadian star resurrected Tupac's voice in his song "Taylor Made Freestyle." In response, Kendrick delivered a powerful rebuttal with his own song, "Not Like Us."

This comes after Drake's other alleged strut, which triggered rumors that he owns the car Tupac was killed in.

Over the weekend, a photo surfaced on the "One Dance" singer's Instagram Stories featuring a pal posing in front of a sleek black BMW e350.

The image quickly circulated on social media, sparking speculation among rap fans that Drake had acquired the exact vehicle in which Tupac was tragically shot in a drive-by incident near the Las Vegas Strip back in 1996.

In contrast, avid car fans quickly realized that the BMW showcased by Drake was not the same car Tupac was riding on the night he was fatally shot.

The vehicle involved in the shooting of the legendary West Coast rapper remains available for purchase at Celebrity Cars Las Vegas, with a price tag of $1.75 million.
