One day after Chris Brown said that he could beat Usher in a dance-off, fans actually got to see the two performers tear up the floor at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas.
Usher was well into his short set when he made an announcement to the crowd, according to Billboard.
"I'd like to introduce this young man that I've gotten to know," he said. "He's a friend, he's a brother, he's a passionate artist and I have a fortunate opportunity to have shared a song with him."
The two breezed through their single "New Flame" and then participated in a quick dance-off.
At the conclusion, Usher removed his sneakers, poured lighter fluid on them and then lit them on fire.

Friday night was Brown's chance to back up statements he made to MTV News' Sway Calloway earlier this week.
"See, I don't like to be cocky or arrogant anymore, but when it comes to dancing — when you say 'Chris Brown' and you say 'dancing,' you're gonna have to bring your A game," he said.
In pop culture terms, according to Brown, the hypothetical dance-off would be comparable to a 1997 NBA game when a young Allen Iverson faced off against the well-established Michael Jordan. "It's like when Iverson crossed Jordan," he said, referring to Iverson's juke on Air Jordan. "It's a little different — these moves a little new." Brown said he would "absolutely not" lose to Usher in a battle of moves.
Brown's sixth studio album was released two days ago (Sept. 16) and features the Usher/Rick Ross collaboration track "New Flame." Other artists in the album include Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, R. Kelly, Akon, Kendrick Lamar, Brandy and Ariana Grande.
