If you've been following Young Thug on social media, you've noticed him using terms like "lover" and "baby" when referencing other men but Rich Homie Quan says things have been misconstrued on social media and its just slang. He also explained the fight that broke out at a recent Adrien Broner match.
The Atlanta rapper dished on various things during his edition of Welcome To My Neighborhood with Civil TV.
In the nearly eight minute clip, Quan discusses his relationship with fellow ATL rapper. The two are really good friends according to Quan. In fact they've known each other since middle school.
One hot topic while discussing Thug was his use of feminine lingo when referencing men. RHQ says its just talk.
"Sometimes the social network can misconstrue things," he explained. "We have our own slang and we talk our certain way. But anyone who knows me, as well as anyone who knows him, certain stuff should never cross your mind. But at the same time, that's your opinion to say what you want to say."
Earlier this month, RHQ accompanied boxer Andrien Broner to the ring for his fight with Emanual Taylor but unbeknownst to many, that wouldn't be the only fight of the night. While making his way to his seat for the main event, Quan and another man got involved in a physical altercation. He says he was simply defending himself from a hater, you know, like when he slapped that man that was allegedly trying to rob him as he performed.
"Everybody don't want to see you win," he said. "I was walking [Broner] out to the ring. Not knowing that you got haters in here, somebody that wants to fight you. At the same time you have to defend yourself. Not saying I want people to know I'm into violence, but at the same time you have to be a man."
