Kris Jenner Files For Divorce From Bruce Jenner After A 15 Month Separation

Kris Jenner finally filed for divorce from her husband yesterday. Kris and Bruce Jenner officially announced their split about a year ago and things have been so amicable between them that it was almost easy to forget that all of the legal wranglings hadn't actually happened yet. The

two have maintained that things between them are very civil- so much so that they have filmed episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardasians together and have even vacationed together. Apparently this divorce is about as friendly as these things come too because neither side has hired an attorney. Instead, both Kris and Bruce's business managers have ironed out all of the details together.

The couple was married way back in 1991 and they officially split on June 1, 2013, and yes, that date really does matter. After that date any earnings no longer need to be split between them. They never had a prenup but apparently have agreed on splitting property and they are sharing joint custody of 17-year old Kylie Jenner.

In other words, this may be one of the most civil celebrity divorces ever. Kris is generally a pretty shrewd business woman, it's kind of amazing to watch her being so graceful about things.

Shortly after Kris filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences" Bruce also filed a response so they are clearly on the same page and working together to dissolve the marriage quickly. They also appear to be quite happier now. Bruce is embracing his feminine side and buying expensive toys in peace while Kris focuses on boy toys and saving the Kardashian brand.

This divorce seems to have been a long time coming. Are the Jenner's better off apart now?
