Nicki Minaj Visits August Alsina In Hospital, Gives Update That "No Love" Collaborator Is "Doing Better"

Last Monday, August Alsina was hospitalized after he collapsed and fell off stage during his performance of "Testimony Live" at New York's Irving Plaza. Doctors said he had suffered multiple seizures onstage, which were likely brought on by exhaustion and dehydration. After waking up from a three-day coma, Alsina posted about the status of his health in a photo on Instagram. Many of his fans and friends have sent him well wishes, the latest being his "No Love" collaborator Nicki Minaj, who paid him a visit in the hospital.

"August, u know, I'm here to save u. still praying for my lil bro. He's doing better," Minaj posted on Instagram, along with a photo of her and Alsina, who still had tubes in his nose."

Alsina also posted a photo of he (sans tubes) and the "Anaconda" singer with the caption, "'Aug, u know Im here to save you.' She has to be the sweetest girl I know. #ASisterThatPrays."

As previously reported, Alsina was taken out of the venue on a stretcher following his collapse. The first to update on his condition was his personal security guard, who sent out a message on Instagram saying Alsina was "OK and making a full recovery."

After waking from his three-day coma, Alsina posted an update for himself.

"This is a bit graphic but i wanted to share this w/ every follower of mine," he wrote. "iWoke up out of a 3 day coma... &This guy @banggang_moneyteam right here never once left my side. What I'm tryna say is cherish the ones in life who cherish you & take good care of yourself. Your life can be gone in a split second'.

Adding, "I'm recovering well and thankyou for all of your prayers & concerns."

No word yet on when Alsina is expected to be released from the hospital, but at least he has some good friends cheering him up in the meantime. We'll keep you updated on his recovery as the information becomes available.
