Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Debbie Rowe Testifies, Conrad Murray Leaks Information From Prison

Conrad Murray, the former doctor convicted of manslaughter for administering a fatal dose of sleep aid propofol to Michael Jackson, has been vocal in the recent past about his desire to NOT testify at the ongoing lawsuit between the Jackson family and AEG Live. However, as much as he claims not to be interested, he continues to pour information from outside of the courthouse. A recent blurb on his answering machine gave some information, which if true and/or allowed in testimony, could be damning to the Jackson family's case.

Murray had apparently gotten sick of constant calls from the TMZ's of the world so he set his prison answering machine (no, we didn't get an answering machine when we were in prison either) with a lengthy response to most hot questions.

Some interesting and relevant details, ordered from most to least important:

1) Murray was hired by Michael, not AEG. As the Jackson family's entire suit focuses on this accusation, could ruin their chances.

2) Murray claims that AEG had no idea what kind of medical regimen Michael was under. Again, this would hurt the family's cause.

3) AEG Wanted to hire a different, cheaper doctor, but Michael insisted on Murray. Ditto to above points regarding lawsuit.

4) Michael, allegedly, had more than $40 million out in loans from the concert promoter. This wouldn't be too hard to believe, considering the pop star dies more than $500 million in debt.

5) Not related to the lawsuit, Murray said that during a potential Jackson 5 reunion project, both Katherine and Joe Jackson demanded $1 million salaries...presumably for having birthed such vocally gifted children. The brothers, including Michael, would only receive $500,000.

Whether Murray will be called to testify on behalf of AEG's defense remains to be seen.
