Alan Jackson's 11th studio album (and second Christmas release), Let It Be Christmas, came out in 2002. It was filled with mostly traditional carols (unlike his first Christmas project, Honky Tonk Christmas). The album peaked at #27 on the Billboard 200 and at #6 on Billboard's Country Albums chart. In January 2003, it was certified Gold by RIAA.
Twelve years later, Jackson has announced that he is re-releasing the project as part of his 25th anniversary celebration.
With an October 27 release date, there will be plenty of time for fans to enjoy the Christmas cheer.
