Snoop Dogg Confirms Pharrell Collaborative Album Following New Music With Tha Dogg Pound Gang, Charlo Greene Interview

Snoop Dogg is everywhere these days. He recently confirmed that he has a collaborative album Pharrell in the works after releasing new music with Tha Dogg Pound Gang and interviewing former KTVA reporter Charlo Greene.

Though Snoop and Pharrell have collaborated in the past on songs like "Beautiful" and "Drop It Like It's Hot," the legendary West Coast rhymer says they're serving up something different this time around.

"It's a great record me and Pharrell did from top to bottom. It feels good and I'm happy to be back in the studio working with one of my favorite producers and homeboys," Snoop told MTV News on the BET Hip Hop Awards carpet. "It's different - it's completely different than anything we've ever done. It feels good, sounds good, looks good."

The album is slated to feature music greats Stevie Wonder and Charlie Wilson. Snoop says his alter ego Snoop Lion will sit this one out.

"Snoop Dogg - he'll be on my album. Just Snoop Dogg with two Gs, baby."

Earlier this month, he previewed a snippet of a track that could possibly be featured on the upcoming album. He also released the fifth installment of the That's My Work Gangsta Grillz series.

As previously reported, Snoop teamed up with DJ Drama, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt to release a free 16-track mixtape, That's My Work 5.

He is also gearing up for the How The West Was Won tour in conjunction with Uncle Snoop's Army. The concert will include headlining performances by Ice Cube and Game with great supporting acts like Too $hort, Warren G, Suga Free, Tha Dogg Pound and more.
