Snoop Dogg Promises To Perform In Alaska If Weed Is Legalized During GGN Interview With Charlo Greene

You might not know this, but Snoop Dogg is somewhat a supporter of marijuana. Oh, you did? Then this article shouldn't shock you at all...

It's been reported by NME that the famed rapper has promised to play a show in Alaska IF the US voters opt to legalize weed for recreational use. Snoop apparently made the comments during his GGN webcast program whilst talking about the legalization of marijuana with former KTVA Channel 11 (in Alaska) reporter Charlo Greene, who famously quit her job on air following comments about marijuana reform, saying, "F*ck it. I quit."

Snoop reportedly named her Charlo "Sticky Icky" Greene.

On the topic, the rapper told his fans, "If we get y'all to vote yes on Proposition 2, Snoop Dogg is coming to Alaska to do a concert, a wellness retreat concert, and I'm bringing some of that California with me to celebrate."

Obviously, we can all guess what that "California" is ... and how they'll be celebrating.

Further on the subject, the performer noted, "Now, we got people like yourself standing up. You show that it's multicultural. It's not just a bunch of thug dudes that's trying to push weed, but it's women, and they speak with intelligence and they speak from a right frame of mind. So we support you, we back you and we with you 100 percent."

NME claims that Alaskan voters can take to the issue this coming Nov. 4, and vote on The Alaskan Marijuana Legalization, Ballot Measure 2. If approved, those over the age of 21 would be allowed to possess up to one once of marijuana and up to six plants. It would also make the sale, possession and manufacturing of paraphernalia legal.

So, Alaska ... you know what you have to do!
