Remember Theophilus London? Yes, the guy who made the announcement that Kanye West's new album was finished (just a reminder that he makes music occasionally too...but that doesn't get as many headlines). Well he just came forward and reneged on his previous claims, according to SPIN: It doesn't look like we'll' be hearing the new Kanye anytime soon.
"Kanye west isn't finished for all you Hypebeast bloggers out there writing for your magazine blogs," London tweeted on Tuesday.
So there. London had taken to Twitter last week to declare that he had attended a party with the G.O.O.D Music honcho at a party in Paris where the more acclaimed emcee played his new record three times in a row for a small crowd of around 20. The less acclaimed emcee described the experience as "moshing drunk with mad babes haha" and posted a random photo of himself with West, just to ensure that there was no way anyone could question the validity of his claims.
We should have had suspicions when London claimed he would be featured on the lead single. Jay Z in a lead single? Sure. Chief Keef on a lead single? Why not? Theophilus London on a lead single...probably not.
Maybe we're acting out at London, sorry. We're just a tad bitter that we won't be hearing any new West in the immediate future and that the rapper referred to us as quote-Hypebeast bloggers-end quote. Way to keep it classy Theo: Hiding that you projected your own "N---as in Paris" music video fantasy sequence as fact by, here's an original one, hating on the media.
