Atlanta's 10th annual A3C Festival is right around the corner and word on web is the festivities will include a tribute to late UGK rapper Pimp C hosted by Bun B.
As reported by XXL, the tribute, presented by Mass Appeal, will act as a precursor to the release of rare material from the estate of Pimp C via Mass Appeal Records. The magazine's site previously reported the label would be releasing a posthumous album from Pimp C pairing the "Pourin' Up" rapper with production from Juicy J, Mike WiLL Made It and DJ Mustard.
The tribute will feature an interactive panel highlighting special memories with the rapper as well as reviewing some of his many trill hits.
Sponsored by Stance, the ceremony dedicated to Pimp will take place on Oct. 11 on the Main Stage in Old 4th Ward. A3C passes will be required to attend the tribute show. According to Mass Appeal, the show's full line up will be announced soon.
As previously reported, Bun B was announced in the first batch of A3C performers. Other confirmed performers include Scarface, Mystikal, Juvenile, Twista, Rocko, Mannie Fresh, Talib Kweli, Slaughterhouse, Black Thought with J. Period, The LOX (Jadakiss, Styles P & Sheek Louch), Cyhi The Prynce, Project Pat, Prince Paul, Masta Ace, Cormega and Da Beatminerz, among many others.
