Both Jay Z and Jay Electronica are working on their solo projects and have revealed that No I.D. might be behind at least one of them. Electronica shared an Instagram photo (see below) of Jay Z and No I.D. working at their Mac computers together. It's not certain if he is the one who snapped the photo, but it's likely. The caption for the post says, "from Russia w Love. #butNotReallyRussiaTho."
Few details have been released surrounding Jay Z's upcoming project, however, both DJ Mustard and Mike Will Made It confirmed they've been working with him on new material, MTV reports.
Jay Electronica recently spoke with MTV about the status of the long-awaited album Act II: Patents of Nobility, which he assured fans would drop this year.
"[Jay's] very involved and we've got a good relationship," Jay Electronica told MTV News. "The greatest thing that he's done with me is that he's been very patient with me - just letting me do me, and take my time. He's got the music, but I've still gotta get to a point where I'm comfortable with it, because at the end of the day it's me coming."
The two recently teamed up on the Drake-dissing track "We Made It," where he refers to the Toronto rapper as "Mrs. Drizzy."
