Mstars reported last week that rock band Pearl Jam posted a message on Twitter with a countdown that ends on Monday at 1 p.m. EDT. But another potentially huge piece of information has surfaced online about the band's upcoming new album.
The site Pearl Jam Online posted what could be the full track listing for the yet-to-be-titled album on Wednesday. The post features song titles and time for 12 tracks that total 46 minutes:
1. Reruns Revolution (3:36)
2. Kickstop (2:14)
3. Vivid Futures (3:58)
4. Mind Your Manners (3:08)
5. The Undertow (4:04)
6. Red (3:23)
7. Of The Earth (6:15)
8. Tracking Change (4:21)
9. Uncharted Terrain (3:59)
10. Foliage (2:16)
11. Derision (3:32)
12. Sans Fins (7:12)
The site also posted possible titles for the album, including Of The Earth, X, Ghost Riders, Tides and Echoes. PJO said Wednesday that Tides is the tentative title for the album.
Pearl Jam Online also listed possible theories for what will happen at www.pearljam.com/countdown when the clock runs out, including:
- A United States tour announcement, which has been rumored for months to begin in the fall
- The release of the first single from the album, which many believe is called "Mind Your Manners"
- Album details, including track listings, album cover, release date, title, etc.
Finally, the site reported this review of "Mind Your Manners" from Australian radio Triple M, which reportedly got a chance to listen to the song:
"You'll wet your pants over this. Think 'Spin the Black Circle'. Short, sharp, hard and loud... If it's any indication of the album that's to come, the guys have picked up where they left Backspacer and added turbo charging. PJ fans are gonna love it."
