Mariah Carey kicked off her Elusive Chanteuse tour in Tokyo Friday night. The singing diva delighted the crowd with a performance of her classic hits and material from her latest album amid her split from Nick Cannon.
As reported by Rap-Up, Carey opened the show with the O.D.B.-assisted remix to "Fantasy." Complete with four wardrobe changes, wind machines, and photos of "Dem Babies," Carey also debuted her cover of Billie Holiday's "Don't Explain."
Carey will tour throughout Asia this month and then take her show to Australia and New Zealand in November. As previously reported, this is the first time since 1998 that the singer has actually toured Australia from coast to coast since her Butterfly show. She did play three dates down under on the eastern coast back in January of 2013 but they weren't connected to a full tour.

Prior to the announcement of her tour, Carey and husband Nick Cannon made headlines when news of their split broke. The two were married for six years.
