On Monday, indie psychedelic-folk rockers, Dr. Dog released the lyric video for their single "Broken Heart" off their upcoming album 'B Room.'
The video takes place at an amusement park, possibly during the 60s. It features images of patrons enjoying their weekend adventure and having "Freedom from love/Freedom from the Heartache." The song is a slight departure from their usual sound, having a slower "pop" sound.
'B Room,' the follow-up from last year's "Be the Void," drops Oct. 1. It is Dr. Dog's eighth album, and it was recorded live rather than in the studio. Last month, the band released its first single, "The Truth." So far, "B Room" seems to be more stripped-down than the group's earlier efforts. Both songs have a warm, easy listening vibe that mixes groovy tempos with folk-leaning harmonies.
Dr. Dog hits the road Aug. 31 for a 36-date tour in support of the "B Room."
