M.I.A.'s new single, "Come Walk With Me" is scheduled for release Sept. 3, but she has leaked a minute-and-a-half snippet of the track a few days early.
She originally previewed a remixed version of the single back in 2012, but this version is clearly slowed down with the vocals in the forefront rather than the synth beats. Over guitar, clapping and synth, she sings, "There is nothing that can touch. You can't even break me down."
Fans have eagerly been awaiting the release of the her fourth studio album, 'Matangi,' for a while. It is scheduled to drop Nov. 5.
Let's hope that her record label, Interscope, doesn't "break her down" while we wait for the album to drop. She has tweeted about her frustration with the release process earlier this month:
who would stop MATANGI from coming out?
