Waka Flocka Flame needs to work on his alibi.
The rapper was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Friday morning when a security scan revealed a loaded handgun in his bag, according to TMZ.
Obviously, this did not sit well with policemen on the scene, especially when Waka was found not to have a permit.
What happened, dude?
Well, his rep is labeling it "a big mistake," and that it's not really Waka's fault. You see, he and his fiancé are in the process of moving, and their things are confusingly strewn about the home. So Waka just didn't realize he grabbed the wrong bag.
Something tells us that story won't hold up in court, but worse tales have succeeded, so more power to Waka's legal team.
In early September, Waka made headlines after his wife Tammy Rivera posted a compromising photo with the rapper on her Instagram page.
In the candid shot, the Atlanta rapper can be seen holding a gun, which is in direct violation of Waka's current probation terms.
Taking the thing to airport is obviously a much worse offense.
In the meantime, WFF is still staying in business musically. He revealed the album art for Flockaveli 2 this week.
"It's crazy, I got mad s--t man," Waka said during an interview with XXL in July. "It's been done but I keep making records. The more we sit, the more good records and s--t we'll be pilling up. We got to put this s--t together."
Flockaveli 2 will feature production by 808 Mafia, Lex Luger, Jojo Ryder, Mike WiLL Made It and Black Metaphor.
