Led Zeppelin Announce 'Houses of the Holy' Reissue Details In New Video [WATCH]

Led Zeppelin announced a box-set reissue for the iconic Led Zeppelin IV in September, and now it's following that up with a similar release for the band's fifth album, Houses of the Holy (due Oct. 28).

According to the group's official website, the Holy box will include:

  • CD1: Remastered album on CD in vinyl replica sleeve
  • CD2: Companion audio on CD in card wallet featuring new alternate cover art
  • Vinyl 1: Remastered album on 180-gram vinyl in a sleeve replicating first pressing.
  • Vinyl 2/3: Companion audio on 180-gram vinyl in a sleeve with new alternate cover art.
  • HD Download Card: All content @ 96 kHz/24 bit
  • Hard bound, 80 page book filled with rare and previously unseen photos and memorabilia.
  • High-quality print of the original album cover, the first of 30,000 of which will be individually numbered.

You might've noticed slightly different about the background music — it's a previously unreleased mix of "The Rain Song," according to RTE. If you missed the band's similar video for Led Zeppelin IV released on Sept. 25, you can check that out here.

Guitarist Jimmy Page recently put a damper on any LZ reunion plans.

During a playback of the upcoming remasters at London's Olympic Studios, Page was asked whether or not a Zeppelin reunion is still possible. "I don't think it looks as though that's a possibility or on the cards, so there's not much more I can say about that," he said. "I'm not going to give a detail-by-detail account of what one person says or another person says. All I can say is that it doesn't look likely, does it?"

He also revealed revealed that he wants to put together a new band to play music from various points of his career. "If I was to play again it would be with musicians that would be...some of the names might be new to you," Page said. "I haven't put them together yet but I'm going to do that next year.

"If I went out to play, I would play material that spanned everything from my recording career right back to my very, very early days with The Yardbirds. There would certainly be some new material in there as well."
