Taylor Swift Teases New Song from '1989' in Diet Coke Commercial: Also Kittens!

If you had to say that Taylor Swift loves just three things they'd probably be Diet Coke, kittens and releasing new music, right? Well, maybe. But, regardless, those three magical things have all collided in a new commercial featuring a new song snippet from Swift's new album 1989.

The new ad features Swift in an incredibly cozy looking apartment, wearing a gray sweater and playing with an oh-so adorable kitten. As she takes her first sip of Diet Coke... a new cat appears! And then another and another, and soon, Swift has basically gone to cozy, cuddly kitty heaven with an apartment full of fluffballs.

More interesting than the cute critters, Swift's on-point red lipstick or a delicious Diet Coke is a snippet of a new song from 1989.

Featuring peppy acoustic guitars and a light drum to the full pop melody, Swift can be heard singing "And that's how it works / That's how you get the girl, girl, girl."

The infectious, harmless pop beat is a far cry away from the moody, Bleachers penned and Harry Styles inspired 1989 track Swift dropped earlier this week, "Out of the Woods" and calls back to the lighter, more easy pop of the album's lead single "Shake It Off."

But the upbeat melody and optimistic attitude is all Swift.

Now, pass the Diet Coke. We need some kittens here at Music Times, stat.
